Hi all I was diagnosed with PAD last June. Symptoms appeared very quickly. I had intense cramping in my calf. Two days later, I had two stents placed in my right leg. No claudification since. Prior to Covid, I was very active playing competitive doubles volleyball. The day that I got home from the surgery I was able to walk a mile at a fast pace. In the following days, I was able to walk 2-3 miles on the beach with no pain other than typical muscle fatigue after such an activity. I have adjusted my diet (I spoil myself every once in a while) and have lost 30#. Following my walks I have quite a bit of vascularity in my legs. I haven’t seen those veins in my legs since I worked out intensely a few years ago. I’m hoping that this is a good sign but would appreciate some feedback.
