Thank you for allowing me to join. Just had an ultrasound where it indicates mild to moderate Peripheral Artery Disease. I thought it might be gout with toe pain, pins and needles in foot which caused me to fall, and later, swollen leg and ankle. Never thought this. I never smoked, am slim, no high blood pressure, no drinking. My only indulgences are red meat and sweets. I recently gave up the red meat and shrimp when I thought it could be gout. Eat moderate sweets as well. Cholesterol a little high but not high enough for statins. I am hoping to learn how to manage this and appreciate any help. Thanks again.
